Dr. John C. Carmichael III, Dillon County native, owns and operates Dillon Community Pharmacy and Dillon Family Pharmacy.  He received his Pharm.D. from the University of South Carolina in 2007. He resides in Latta with his wife Allyson, sons Jack and Jesse.

 

In 2014, John had the opportunity to open Dillon Community Pharmacy at 200 West Harrison Street.  This location is a full service pharmacy. We give customers the great service that they deserve as well as offer fantastic savings on prescriptions. Over the counter items, specialty vitamins, and small gifts are also available for purchase.

 

In 2016, Dillon Family Pharmacy, an extension of Dillon Community Pharmacy, was opened within Dillon Family Medicine at 600 North 6th Avenue. This location is also a full service pharmacy and offers convenience for those visiting the doctors’ office. Patients’ medications can be filled before they leave the medical practice.  Additionally, John and his staff have a personal working relationship with the doctors to provide better patient outcomes. While this location provides exceptional convenience for those patients of Dillon Family Medicine, Dillon Family Pharmacy is also fully open to the public.

 

At both of our locations, we have invested in technology and installed a software system that will allow patients to fill their prescriptions at whichever location they would prefer. For example, you may pick up a prescription when you leave the doctors’ office at Dillon Family Pharmacy and get the refill filled at Dillon Family Pharmacy or Dillon Community Pharmacy.
